The Golden Goonz were created by Count Bluntas and F-DUB in Brooklyn, NY in 2012. Building on their love of music, they formed the label with the intention of sharing the incredible talent of local artists with the world. Starting in Count Bluntas' Sheepshead Bay studio, they have worked with fantastic Brooklyn MC's including Frankie Fingaz, RollerCoaser Geez, The SPIX (Zeps & Eturnal), Major Lyrics, Dama Nilz, Ken Boogs, Yesh, Mike Swift, Subliminal, NEMS, and Westbay, just to name a few. As word of mouth spread that Count Bluntas was the man to see for dope hard hitting boom bap beats and running highly productive studio sessions, many talented artists from the NYC area flooded Golden Goonz Studio's. Ultra MC's from all over NYC who worked with us include Bianco, Mavric Hayes, Kool Da Great, Procise, Fahim, Bane Kido, Sheila B, Shark, and Josiah Hotwire. Zeps brought in artists from the Nordic countries like Rune Rim, Gode Ord Dør Sist, Dekstra Large, and Beatur. Blessed with good fortune we were able to work with other terrific artists from around globe like ZienHow, Enzyme Dynamite, Lavish Life, Traverse, Copywrite, Tre Isaacs, Tshila, Eddie Cooper, KREAM, Negatibo, Third World Council, Jae Deuce, Moey Toons, Sly Kane, Pow Chavez, and Alex Crisano.
